Yes the dreaded blight has struck. Only 1 plant seems to have been completely destroyed so far, I took off those tomatoes that looked okay (now ripening on the windowsill at home) and pulled the rest of the plant out, which I will burn once I get around to buying an incinerator. The rest of the crop have been sprayed with bordeaux mixture (hence the cyan blue colour to the leaves) in the hope I can save the rest. I think the bush variety is more susceptible due to the foliage touching the ground. So the plan now is to cut off any affected leaves and as many lower leaves as possible, and then lay some straw across the ground. I really don’t want to lose these, I’ve invested too much time and effort, and they’re just starting to ripen!
