I have roughly plaited my garlic and hung it up. It’s one of those slightly tedious jobs that I put off for ages, but I’m always really satisfied when it’s done. It looks so much better than the untidy straggle of rusted leaves and mud covered bulbs that were hanging there previously. I normally use raffia to tie the stems together and cover them over, but having run out of it, I decided to use some garden twine, which has done the job just as well.
There’s just another 3 bunches in the allotment shed to do now!
Epic post – epic day!
