Oh dear, an entire summer has passed by without me blogging about my allotment, and now here I am in November with a snowy illustration and a reminder that Christmas is just around the corner. Sorry, I honestly don’t know where the year has gone either.
I will post a full update on all the ups and downs of my growing year very soon, but for now I wanted to quickly share these new cards with you, as they’ve been selling well via my Instagram followers and I didn’t want my loyal blog followers to miss out.
Somebody contacted me (at the end of August!) to ask if I’d be doing some Christmas cards this year, and after a bit of discussion it transpired she was specifically looking for allotment themed cards with an allotment or veg garden as the main image. How could I resist? The image is pretty much made up, although anyone who knows my plot may recognise the little cluster of sheds at the top left.
The cards come in a pack of 5, and 50p from every pack will be donated in January to a gardening charity called Thrive who are a wonderful charity that use the healing powers of gardening to help people living with illness or disability, or are otherwise in need. I know how much gardening can help as a form of therapy and I think we need more of this, so I hope you can help me to help them.
Also, if you order 3 or more packs I will send you some of my illustrated Christmas themed stickers, which you can use on cards, envelopes or tags.
Okay, no more mention of the C word (for now) I promise.
